High School Musical-trilogien sluttede ikke lige pludselig. Serien består af tre film:High School Musical, udgivet i 2006; High School Musical 2, udgivet i 2007; og High School Musical 3:Senior Year, udgivet i 2008. Filmene var en succes og blev efterfulgt af to spin-off-serier, High School Musical:Get in the Picture og Sharpay's Fabulous Adventure.
